Cookies and the information collected

We use cookies on our websites to store information on your computer. A cookie is a small text document, which allows us to distinguish between users and obtain additional information to support Teaming Up functionality. Cookies are set when you submit a form, login or interact with our Website by doing something that goes beyond clicking some simple links.

Some of the cookies we use are essential to make our service work or provide an adequate protection level, others help to improve our service by giving us some insights in how our service is being used (‘functional cookies’). We also use some non- essential cookies to anonymously track visitors and enhance your experience of Teaming Up (‘analytics’ and ‘third party cookies’).

There are two types of cookies: cookies set by us (‘first party cookies’) and cookies set by a third party (‘third party cookies’).

A. The first party cookies we use are functional (session based only) and analytics cookies.

Functional cookies: we use digitally signed cookies as a default to store sessions when using our service. These cookies help to minimalize the possibility of un-authorized use of your account. Other session cookies we use help us to determine if cookies are enabled, identify which requests belong to a session and determine the start and end of a session.

Duration: these cookies will expire after each session.

Analytics cookies: we use analytics cookies to collect information about how people use Teaming Up. We do this to make sure that we are meeting our Customers' needs and to help us understand what we could do better. These cookies allow us to set an anonymous identifier to distinguish users, view details of how our users have reached Teaming Up (traffic source, information, campaigns), view all activities and interactions (events), help us to get insight in how often and if users take or complete specific - pre-set - actions or goals (goal flow) and calculate the average time spent on Teaming Up.

These cookies do not collect personal information and will not be linked to any personal identifiable information you may provide. The analytics data can therefore not be used to identify who you are.

Duration: these cookies will expire after a maximum of 12 months.

B. Third party cookies

Our website uses tools or applications that are linked to third party social media service providers such as Google Analytics, Fullstory and ActiveCampaign. Through these tools or applications, the social media service provider may set its own cookies on your device. We have no control over these cookies and thus refer you to the policies of the respective service providers (which change frequently).

It is possible that the abovementioned third parties process your personal data outside the EU, in the United States. These third parties have stated to comply with the EU-US Privacy Shield. This means an adequate protection level for data processing is in place.

Managing cookies

You have the right to refuse and delete cookies.

Refusing cookies set via our Website: to allow you to easily accept or refuse the cookies placed when you use our Website we've installed a cookie tool. If you do not take any action, cookies will always be switched on. To control third party cookies, you can adjust your browser settings.

If you would like to read more information on cookies and changing your browser/mobile device settings we are happy to refer you to www.allaboutcookies.org and http://www.civicuk.com/cookie-law/browser-settings.
